The story thoroughly reveals the entrenched nature of corruption in public service in Cote D’Ivoire despite institutional arrangements by the government to combat the canker which includes the creation of the Haute Autorité pour la bonne gouvernance (High Authority for Good Governance), the Anti-Corruption Brigade (BLC), the National Authority for the Regulation of Public Procurement (Anrmp) and the Commission for Access to Public Interest Information.
