HAROUNA Ibrahim has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a professional master’s degree in communications. For most of his 20-year professional career, Harouna Ibrahim has been a journalist. He is the promoter and Publishing Director of Journal l’Entretien, a newspaper also published online on lentretien.info and lentretien.tv. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Maison de la Presse du Niger since 2016, the umbrella organization for 32 socio-professional media organizations (associations, networks and unions).
In addition to serving as President of the Union des Editeurs de Presse (UNEP), which he presently represents on the Maison de la Presse Board of Directors, he is also President of the Fédération des Maisons et Clubs de Presse de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (FEMACAO).
