Tidiane is a seasoned Senegalese journalist and journalist trainer. He currently provides media consultancy services throughout Africa. As the founder of the award winning Ouestaf News, he is one of the pioneers of online journalism in Senegal. He is also the founder of E-jicom, a journalism, communication and digital media school in Dakar.
Tidiane has worked for major media outlets, including the BBC, AFP, and Global Radio News.As a reporter, he extensively covered the continent, especially, the West African sub-region and has conducted major investigations, culminating in his participation in the global “Panama Papers” project.
He is recognized as a social innovator in the fields of “News and Knowledge” by the Ashoka and Knight Foundations.
