Christy Joseph-Chukwuemeka

Christy Joseph-Chukwuemeka is the Deputy Director Programmes, English Service, Voice of Nigeria. She is a broadcast journalist with 30 years experience under her belt and is known for high professionalism.

She is a trailblazer – in 2010, she became the first Nigerian journalist to win the UNICEF International Children’s Day of Broadcasting (ICDB)  Award after she tied with South Africa.

A two – time nominee of the Association for International Broadcasting, AIB Excellence Award in the United Kingdom, U.K. Christy Joseph-Chukwuemeka was also a Nominee for Nigerian Media Merit Award, NMMA, in 2011.
