Special Report on Ebola and Free Expression in West Africa

In this special report, the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) presents incidents of recorded Ebola-related freedom of expression violations, particularly in the worst-affected countries: Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. The report also highlights challenges with respect to media freedom and professional reportage and the positive and negative contributions of the media, including social media and bloggers, to efforts to prevent and contain the disease.
