Vivian Affoah is a Senior Programme Officer for Communications and Outreach. She is one of MFWA’s long serving staff and has served in several capacities in the organisation. Ms Affoah is currently in charge of coordinating the organisation’s communication efforts. She also assists in the organisation’s offline and online campaigns.
She has in the past coordinated the MFWA’s freedom of expression rights monitoring programme. She was also the Assistant to the coordinator for the Ghana Media Standards Improvement Project which the MFWA undertook in collaboration with the Ghana Association of Journalists. She among other things organised and facilitated several press conferences, training programmes and media development forums.
Before joining to MFWA, Vivian worked with The Mail newspaper in Accra , Ghana where she covered social issues. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Diploma and in Communication Studies.
